tonight’s schedule: Hold’em
The desk is pushed against the bunk. Hold’em is on.
Three roommates, one laptop, and a kettle that never sleeps. Dorm Desk Club is a free poker night built entirely around late-night Hold’em with the roommates — bringing the whole dorm room together — noodles steaming, playlist humming, everyone leaning in close. Runs right in your browser, just for fun.

Build tonight’s starting lineup
Every good Hold’em night starts with a roster. Type your roommates’ names, watch them scribble onto the chalkboard — then copy the invite link and slide it into the roommate group chat.

Slam an emoji cheer
Too hype to stay quiet when a big hand hits the felt? Smash a reaction and watch it fly over the desk. Your roommates will fire one back before the kettle boils again.

why the desk beats everything else
Written on the chalkboard
Three reasons this little desk becomes the best spot on campus after dark.
-
1
Zero setup, one link
Nothing to fetch, no accounts, no fuss. One person opens the Hold’em table, drops the link in the chat, and suddenly everyone’s pulling up a chair.
-
2
Built for laughing, not lecturing
Gentle hints help everyone learn as they go. Nobody gets a Hold’em rulebook homework assignment — just play a hand, crack a joke, enjoy the chaos.
-
3
Your first game night, on repeat
A hand of Hold’em unfolds, noodles disappear, someone yells too loud for a Tuesday. By next week it’s tradition — same desk, same crew, new stories.

Notes from the room
A few sticky notes from roommates who’ve made the desk their nightly hangout.
-
“We pushed the desk against the bunk and now it’s the whole hangout. Hold’em on the table, noodles on, playlist low. Best semester yet.”
Maya & Room 214Chem majors, terrible singers -
“Our RA heard us cheering over a wild showdown and stayed to play. We saved her a chair. She’s on the roster permanently now.”
JonahFloor 3, Room 12 -
“Nobody explains anything about Hold’em, everyone figures it out, everybody laughs. That’s the whole vibe and honestly it works.”
Priya & ZoeDesk neighbors, snack sharers -
“One laptop, four chairs, a poker table after midnight. Somehow it became the best part of the week.”

Answers on the board
Everything the group chat asks before the first Hold’em hand is dealt.
Is Dorm Desk Club really free?
Completely. It’s a free Hold’em poker game that runs in your browser, just for fun — nothing to sign up for, nothing else to grab.
Will it work on my ancient laptop?
Almost certainly. If it can stream a lecture, it can run the desk. Any modern browser on a phone, tablet or laptop works.
Can we play with just two or three people?
Totally. Fewer chairs filled still makes a great night, and a friendly practice bot happily warms an empty seat.
Half of us have never played before. Problem?
Not at all. Gentle hints show which hand wins at every showdown, so everyone picks up Hold’em as they go — mostly by teasing whoever taught them.
Is our table private?
Yes. Tables are invite-only — only folks holding your link can pull up a chair, and you can wipe the board and start a fresh poker night anytime.
tonight, after lights-out
The desk is waiting. Pull up a chair.
It’s free, it runs right in your browser, and it’s about to become the reason nobody on your floor sleeps before 1 a.m. Pull up a chair — the Hold’em table is warm and Noods is dealing.
